We were just listening to some honky tonk piano versions of "Jingle Bells," but if you were to play word association with me and said "honky tonk," I'd say "Bill Doggett!"
Organist Bill Doggett had a big hi with the song "Honky Tonk" in 1956, but for our immediate purpose, we turn to his 1958 album on King Records "12 Songs of Christmas" for his rendition of "Jingle Bells":
That's pretty cool!
